The thought that the Federal Government has such a perfect plan to trick the US military and local police forces into all towing a tyrannical line and begin oppressing American citizens at the tip of a spear is patently ridiculous. I served in the US Navy myself. The soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines all know exactly how patriotic they are and would revolt at the notion of marching down the main street and killing grannies on the front porch. The area51 has been searching for signals from other star systems for many decades. No signals have been found that would indicate they came from an intelligence. Once we are able to do so, we would probably send out probes around the galaxy to search for intelligent life. There are also vehicles patrolling the outer area so if you start down any of the roads leading to the perimeter, they will send a military vehicle out to watch you.
