Ballet flag USA shirt takes ballet dancers years and years to be able to really dance. What I mean by this is that you need to have a really strong technique to be able to show the artistic side of ballet. The people who did Black Swan made a lot of publicity around the fact that Natalie Portman learned ballet in a few months’ time.  We often see in the movie the pointe shoes, then her face and arms, then the shoes again. It’s not an artistic choice, it’s because Portman couldn’t be in pointe shoes, it’ll be dangerous to do so. And even if she did wear some, she could not pirouette and achieve an allegro. Here’s a picture of what a tendu looks like. The supporting leg is straight, the two feet are turned out completely, all the leg muscles are engaged, the barrel is held delicately.
