I spend a lot of time figuring out how to design my personal library because as an avid reader I like to take books out of the shelf a lot, read a few pages or the backside of it and put it back. Sometimes I just need a quote, and I would hate if it screwed up some elaborate pattern I have made for myself. So I want to the pragmatic approach, and still, find a beautiful way to solve it. A funny thought. I would call this the pipeline and have it in addition to my regular library. There are simple to little space. So I would have all my books, in a bookshelf, and move the books that are up next to this shelf. This is orgasmic to me. I would never leave assuming a person with this kind of bookshelf has good taste in literature. This is self-indulgence, made right, and anyone should own this.
