Eagle with hat Americaw shirt decide to love in life, I tend to base these kinds of decisions on a specific moment in my personal life. For birds, this is no different. I rarely think of them from a scientific perspective but rather a particular moment in my life that caught me in a moment of awe as to the beauty and diversity of nature. This was the first bird that ever came to the feeder at my own home. Because of that, I’ll always have an appreciation for this bird. It’s not the most spectacular bird to look at but it has such interesting behavior when it comes to feeding. I was able to track this very same bird that came to my feeder and follow it to a nest directly across the street from my home nested in a hole on the side of a home’s wood paneling. I’ll always think of these guys when I think of feeder birds.
