Firefly I’m a leaf on the wind watch how I soar shirt was closure for the original storyline. And since they offer a couple of main characters they really can’t go back. A reboot with different actors playing the original roles would only work if they found actors that very closely mimicked the originals. The Star Trek reboot got very lucky with a few of the cast members and missed completely with others. If there were a series based on the original but set 20 or so years after and the original actors could pop in for cameos now and then that could work and I’d probably watch that. The writing, dialogue, and chemistry would have to be on par with the original! I have watched Grave of the Fireflies. If you haven’t already, I recommend you to watch it. If you have then we can talk about it. The story is good. The siblings are cute and lovable. It made me cry at the end though. The worlds are terraformed. And it took less than 500 years.
