Flower I’m just a girl standing in front of her class asking them to stop talking shirt have a sterling silver that I thought had died in a frost snap we had a couple of years ago, but I left it in the rose bed and it sprouted a new branch. I really don’t fuss too much with my roses. I have four others in the rose bed and they all do just fine without much work other than pruning off the bloomed out flowerheads. It is my favorite rose. Its aroma is slightly citrus and fresh. No overpowering rose scent which makes me sneeze. They are not supposed to be that hardy yet this bush is about 15 years old and has survived several freeze snaps and our triple digit summers. Oriental lilies bloom in summer and are amazing! I grew Stargazers for many years just for that scent. Asiatic Lilies bloom earlier in the year and do not have a scent. You can throw it into the dimmest room with the little light source, and somehow it will survive and even thrive!
