I would like to apologize to anyone I have not yet offended please be patient shirt think the asker knows that there have been minor apologies in the matter of slavery and the mistreatment of Native Americans. For me, at least those apologies ring hollow mostly because there hasn’t been any major change in attitude to go with the apology. If I slapped you, apologies and then slap you twice more I probably wasn’t sorry the first time. I think many of the previous answers, both to this question and the other variations of this question on Quora, really answered this question in detail. Many people have chimed in and explained their opinions on this matter. In doing so I think they can be considered as a microcosm of how the majority of people in this country think about both the black and Indian Holocaust in America.
