Juneteenth celebrating freedom emancipation day shirt are aware of this often-localized event. As such, there is likely little drive to make observance national. On the other hand, some of us are somewhat familiar with the lies, vindictiveness, and other Christian behavior remains that led to Juneteenth. As a white woman, I would love to see Juneteenth become national, with celebrations that are all about the lies that slaves were told about their status. I think Juneteenth being a national holiday would be great! I’m not sure I am the best person to ask though. I can tell you that when I lived in the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania area, there was actually a Juneteenth festival. But, I have a feeling that such a thing is relatively uncommon. That is the reason I am familiar with Juneteenth. I know that the show Blackish mentioned it last season.
