Once upon a time there was a girl really loved dogs and turtles It was me shirt had our Sulcatas now for about 10 years. We got them as babies. They eat different things than Russians. Russians should eat some flower heads, but here in the north, it can be difficult to find organic flowers in the winter so we feed ours a variety of greens and veggies. Our Sulcatas get some greens but mostly we feed them Timothy hay or orchard grass. That is always available for them we also use it for their bedding. We feed the Russian once or twice a week. When we do feed the Sulcatas greens, we sprinkle them with calcium. We alternate red leaf, green leaf, romaine, turnip greens. Ours don’t like collards or mustard greens. Some others may. A little spring mix they love it is a special treat we sometimes mix in with their other greens. We feed greens from once a week to ten days apart.
