Pierogi Check out my six-pack shirt were Polish and Russian. Grandma made these all the time and we grew up calling them something different but I can’t find the word anywhere. I believe it’s something like “Pattaya”. Can anyone help with this mystery? Just like my mum used to make. I’ll have to try and make some myself soon. Sorry, but I am Italian. That pasta would need more than just butter for me. I like a bit of fresh dill in my Pierogi. I remember making pierogi with my father at home when I was young and it brings back such fond and happy memories. Whenever life throws a curveball and I feel down, I make pierogi. Chemo makes the best supermarket perogies but they have nothing on my homemade bacon and onion pierogies. I make them monthly in my tiny galley. What a sweet couple. So nice.
