Stevie Nicks is my fairy godmother shirt is one of the more famous Stevie stories, and it all started because of a prank that Mick Fleetwood and John McVie pulled on her which Stevie has recounted on several occasions. The way it goes, during the White Album that’s the 1975 album titled Fleetwood Mac, not the Beatles one, of course, tour in 1975-1976, the Mac was co-billed with the Eagles for a while. At the time, Stevie and Lindsey were in the process of their acrimonious breakup, and Mick and John knew that Stevie thought Don Henley was my fairy godmother, so they decided to have a little joke with her. Because they don’t understand the difference between recognizing a good singer, a singer they like. I was critical of Stevie’s abilities as my fairy godmother initially, even though I was a fan.
