I have yet to meet a veteran that can only make a decision about one issue and one alone. Most of us are just a wee bit more nuanced than. I liked McCain once upon a time. I even voted for him against Obama. I think he was actually a hero, he deserved that moniker and devoted his life to the country. I also think, for the great American McCain was, he could also be an incredible asshole, and by the end, he was an incredibly vindictive, self-absorbed, and very bitter, large scale asshole. He could hate Trump all he wanted and I can sympathize with why he would hate Trump, that doesn’t mean Trump is wrong about everything under the sun. It just means Trump and McCain weren’t friends.
