While you were reading this I farted shirt said, I would love to take this opportunity to complain about the only book that I have prohibited in my house. I had such high hopes for this book. I try to find books for my daughter that are empowering but not preachy, and that can teach her something about science or history in the process. Clinton is a respected historian and teacher, and the book was an immediate best-seller, so I did something I don’t usually do. I bought the book without even reading it first. I took it home and started reading it to my daughter, and about halfway through I stopped reading aloud. She wanted me to continue, but I just said hold on and read the rest of the book myself. After finishing the book, I set it aside and said, I’d like to read you a different book instead. My daughter was disappointed, but I read her another book.
