YEET cannon shirt killed the guy and yet him into a bush. Hopefully, no one can find him. People say it because it’s silly, and it happens to sound silly enough to fit most actions or things. I personally think YEET is such a multifaceted word that one should modify it on a per case basis as one sees fit, according to either the mood or the overall education level. But in the era of hashtags, character limits, voice recognition, thumb-controlled keyboards, people popularizing obscure trends for no significant reason whatsoever, and defying most of the rules of English grammar, I don’t think the verb tense of YEET is gonna hang you up too much. I believe that word is the best fucking invention in the English language since the Oxford comma. I use that word as much as appropriately possible. The perfect YEET is not easy to achieve.
